Megan's resume is impressive however, she didn't have anything to show in the area of art. So, last fall I suggested she enter into the Weber High reflections contest because that would allow her to at least check the box that she had entered an organized art contest. Last November she entered. Weeks later, Megan was notified that she won at Weber High. A couple weeks later we learned that she had won at the district level. Last week she was honored at the region level. I was so proud of her!! She can now check off three more things on the application when it comes time next fall.
This is a good lesson for all of us. Besides her three checks, she has a beautiful picture that we have framed for her room. Her picture is called Black and Purple Petunias and is inspired by Georgia O'Keefe.

Wow, very impressive! Good for Megan...it's true, you just never know until you try. Great message!
What a great accomplishment for Megan! Is that her artwork on the post?
Congratulations, Megan! That is an awesome accomplishment. Maybe one of these days we can visit Utah and you can show us the artwork in person.
Way to go Megan!
