Same dress ~ different guy!

Megan was asked to Woods Cross High School's Senior Ball last Saturday night. She was asked by a young man that she didn't know very well. But she was excited to go and had a great time( dinner at Market Street Grill and the dance was at the Capitol).

It was fun because her cousin Carlie and close friend Aubree Jones were going too. Megan has known Carlie her entire life and Aubree since she was four years old. Aubree and Megan spent many many hours as young girls playing dress ups. This time it was for real. Megan went to Aubree's house and had their hair and makeup done. Thanks for Emily Bean and Tonya Jones. Tim and I hung around Bountiful so we could be there when her date picked her up. We also happened to be there when Aubree's date came too. So, here is what happened....

In Pleasant View, we have never had an issue with curfew. So when John came to pick up Megan it didn't even occur to us to mention a curfew. She was being dropped off at the Bean's house (her Aunt and Uncle) after the dance and she was in the same group as Carlie. But when Aubree's date came (about fifteen minutes later) he asked Tonya and Glade (Aubree's m & d) what time Aubree needed to be home. With Aubree being their first child, Tonya looked at me for advice. I told her that our children always had a midnight curfew. They then asked the boy what his curfew was. He said he didn't have one. They told him that he should have Aubree home by midnight. It wasn't until Sunday morning, I found out Megan was out until 1:30 a.m. I guess we are getting irresponsible in our old age!!
