Last week every member of our family was gone having some sort of adventure...except for me. I was HOME ALONE (and it was Melissa & Adam in New York)!!! Tim was off to Atlanta for work, and all of our children were off enjoying oceans around the world. Melissa & Adam were able to take a ferry on the Atlantic Ocean, Sean took a bike ride along the coast somewhere in between the Indian & South Pacific Ocean, and Megan was finding joy (see picture) in the water and along the coast of the Pacific Ocean!! To quote a person I know and love (Melissa), I was having fun watching other people have fun. I do delight in these experiences for our children. I'm so grateful for these wonderful opportunities!!
By Thursday night, Tim was home with me and on Friday we went off for an adventure ourselves. We spent the day driving from Pleasant View and took the long way to Park City and Deer Valley and down to Salt Lake. We ate a picnic, went out to dinner, went to a movie, and walked down memory lane by getting a shake at Iceberg in Salt Lake and ended up walking around the U of U campus for over an hour. We were gone for twelve hours, with no agenda. It was a really fun day!!
Megan got back from California on Saturday night. Here are some of her pictures just to get those of you excited for Southern California this summer!!!

It all sounds wonderful! Including the twelve hours! BTW Megan's swimsuit looked great! Wat to go, or should I say "Way To Be" (Pres. Hinckley book) Megan and Margie.
It sounds like everyone had fun! I am so glad you and Tim were able to have time for yourselves.
What did you do by yourself for an entire week??????? Looks like everyone is well and healthy and having fun!!!
Cute post, Margie! That was really quite the week for the Marsdens and like Tim said, "A dose of your own medicine." Being home alone was quite the role reversal for you.
What great pictures of your children having fun by the different oceans. Megan's suit really is adoreable, way to go making it so cute and her so comfortable.
What a stage in life, ha, Marge? Sounds like you and Tim are in a good place where you can enjoy watching your children as they explore places away from the nest.
Oh, how funny-- the word verification for this comment is rehab :-) I think that's where I am right now, blog rehab. Although I prefer to call it a blog break :-)
