Sean has a girlfriend...

Okay, I finally admit it!! For whatever reason, I haven't been able to until recently admit that Sean does have a girlfriend. He has been dating Carly Hirst for one year now. Their first date was last October to the Weber High Halloween dance. Even though they have both dated others throughout the year, they both seem to really like each other. Carly is absolutely ADORABLE!! There is not one thing I don't like about this girl!!! She is smart (she is on a full tuition scholarship at BYUI) hard working, beautiful and has the greatest personality. In fact, I think I told her I loved her before Sean did :)!! She is a wonderful influence on Sean. And just the type of girl you would want your son to date.

But aren't young men preparing to go on their missions not supposed to have just one special girlfriend?? I know, I can hear each one of you right now saying WHAT ABOUT YOU AND TIM!!! Isn't it funny how your past comes back to haunt you? I know there are of few of you out there that are in this category too!!

We went up to the cabin over UEA. It was a fabulous weekend and we enjoyed great weather. We stopped in Rexburg on our way up to watch Sean play soccer. Sean is on two different soccer teams inter murals & competitive. He has also been nominated to be on the All Star competitive soccer team. Carly is on the inter mural team, so we got to see her play too. Then the five of us went out to dinner. Thursday we stayed around the cabin & Friday we went into Yellowstone. We had to leave early to make it down to Sean's competitive soccer game in Rexburg. After his game, we went to the temple in Rexburg with Sean, while Megan hung out with her cousin David Conley. On Saturday David, Sean & Carly came up the the cabin. We had a wonderful day together and they didn't leave until almost 11:00pm. because we were in a heated game of loaded questions (thanks Jeff & Melissa) and the boys wanted to win. But it ended in a tie. We had twenty-two people at the cabin!! You put the characteristics of the Marsden family and Ensign family and it looks a lot like "Dan in Real Life."

Sean has also had a lot of fun hanging out with his cousin David Conley. David has gotten to be good friends with Carly too. Hopefully not too good of friends :)!!

Perhaps Sean will bring Carly to Lesley's Christmas party so you can all get to meet her too. I have already told Carly how wonderful each of you are. So there you have it. I admit it Sean does have a girlfriend. But I also must say...I love her.

You guys are Amazing! Thank you for all the kind words Margie and everyone don't listen to her, she is much too generous. Thanks to you and Melissa I decided to get a blog. It really is exciting and I am enjoying it. Also, so marivic_little grumpyangel knows, sorry I don't know who this is yet, I work on the grounds crew at BYU Idaho. This means that the one girl on the big lawnmower is probably me. Thanks again for being so sweet Margie and everyone else.

I don't think there is anything wrong with dating someone who is about to go on a mission... Especially when they have such a wonderful family!! It worked out great for me! :)
