Can I still be in the family if I don't blog regularly???

This summer has been a busy one!! The picture above was taken on the last day of school.
The next day, I gave a wedding shower for my wonderful adopted niece Dani Crouch.

Then the trips began. Tim and I were gone for 37 days between June 4th and August 4th!! We went on five different trips. Our trips together were California, Atlanta, Snowbird (Tim was in Wisconsin during Snowbird), Island Park and Las Vegas. Megan has been gone 50 days!! Besides the trips she went on with us she went on a Road Trip to Boise, Youth Conference, Girls Camp and Bear Lake!!
So, I thought maybe I could do a quick summary of our families summer and make up for lost blog time. Included are a few of our family highlights this summer...

California was wonderful!! What more can I say...that hasn't already been blogged about??!!

Road Trip to Boise (remember my phone call..."Could I speak to either the mother or father of Megan Marsden?"

Megan on the porch of a Southern Plantation in Roswell, Georgia!!

Megan at the worlds largest aquarium in Atlanta, Georgia.

Forth of July party in Pleasant View, Utah

Tim was the M.C. at our Stake Patriotic Program...

Harry Potter midnight showing....

Caitlin married Richard on July 18, 2009...

Meanwhile in Darwin Australia....things are hopping for Elder Marsden!!

And back at the Ranch...in Island Park...we spent a week playing and anxiously anticipating the biggest event of the summer!!

The crowning event for our family occured on July 27th at 10:28 p.m. when Hannah Elizabeth Turney came to join the fun!!

My baby girl had her baby girl!!

And we became Grandparents!!

After spending 8 days with Hannah...

Megan continued her summer at Bear Lake with one group of friends, and then spent two days in Provo with another group of friends...
And then hiked to the top of Ben Lomond with Tim...a total of 16 miles!!

So that pretty much brings you up to date. The last big event of the summer will be my nephew Rich's wedding to Natalie on Friday August 21st. School starts on Monday the 24th!! It has been a wonderful and busy summer, and I wish I could do it all over again.

I'm absolutely exhausted after reading your blog! I don't know how you did all of that amazing stuff and still have a gorgeous yard full of blooming flowers (and a live cat to boot!)

We love your family and we live vicariously through you and your ability to have fun. Keep it going for another week, you could probably fit in one more trip before the wedding!!!

P.S. Thank you for bringing Cami grape fruit bars for her missing wisdom teeth, that was soooo sweet!
