Happy Anniversary Tim

Today is our 26th wedding anniversary. It doesn't seem possible to me that we have been married for 26 years because the time has flown by. In someways I can hardly remember a time I didn't know Tim because we met when we were only fifteen years old. All of our children are now older than fifteen. We are also now closer to our 50th wedding anniversary than we are to our wedding day. Now those that know me well, know that I don't like to directly bring attention to the fact that I am getting "older". However, Tim on the other hand loves to put things into perspective and is all the time bringing analogies into situations. We joke about a time when we were in High School and Tim had a date with other girl. He told me about the date and explained to me that it was like going to a movie theater. He said he loved going to the theater and he loved always sitting in the same seat at the theater. This is the point that I figured out that I was the "same seat". Then he said, sometimes, you just want to sit in another seat to enjoy the movie and get a different point of view. But on December 16th, 1982, Tim picked his seat and we have both been enjoying the movie together ever since.

Here is a list of twenty-six reasons of why I love Tim!! They are not in any particular order, just a few things that I love about him.

1. He loves the Lord.
2. He loves our family (immediate & extended).
3. He is smart .
4. He works hard and provides for our family.
5. His sense of humor!! He makes me laugh all the time.
6. He always strives to better himself and develop his skills, education and talents.
7. His unwavering integrity.
8. He always let me eat the last of the popcorn, chocolate or whatever it is.
9. He lets me be me...100% of the time, and he supports me.
10. He has several passions and interests in life.
11. He has become a good listener :).
12. He is fun to listen too (he tells great stories).
13. He is a great teacher by example and by word and deed.
14. He is a wonderful father (just ask any of our children).
15. He loves all kinds of music.
16. He is a gentleman (he learned that from watching his dad :)).
17. He is a sexy dancer ( I know TMI about TIM) but it is true.
18. He is very fun to be around.
17. He is sensitive to me.
18. I am always proud to say he is my husband.
19. He is always looking to make me happy.
20. He doesn't complain about life, work, sickness or whatever...he takes it like a MAN.
21. He tucks me into bed and if I'm really lucky, rubs my feet.
22. He doesn't complain that my alarm goes off at 5:20 a.m. and wakes him up every day.
23. He is very patient with me.
24. He is my very best friend.
25. He is a wonderful husband.
26. I'm looking forward to the next twenty-six years as well as eternity.
