THEY HAVE ARRIVED!

Tim and Sean arrived in England today!!! They called me this morning and sounded very very happy. Everything went quite smoothly for them.
L. Tom Perry was traveling with them the first leg of the trip. They also sat by the man that was the convert in "The Best Two years". They were able to sleep for about 4 hours on the plane. They arrived in London about 30 minutes earlier then scheduled, so by the time they went through customs, and got their luggage, they were on the train within the hour. When they were looking for the correct train to take to Wembley stadium, they asked a man who was very delighted to see Sean in his Arsenal soccer shirt, and was extremely helpful because he was an Arsenal fan too. Their hotel is just a 7 minute walk from the stadium, and they got there before they could check in. The hotel let them leave their luggage there while they went over to Wembly to see the stadium. After site seeing for a couple of hours they came back to the hotel and slept for about 3 1/2 hours. They didn't want to be to tired for the big match...England vs. Czech Republic.
They were very excited to see David Beckham (aka Edward) and were excited about having tenth row seat. Sean couldn't believe how green England was as they were flying over. They sounded rested and happy.

It must be a relief for you to know they are safely on the ground! It was for me, but then I'm getting paranoid about flying in my "mature" years :-) We're excited for them, Margie! How awesome to see a soccer game in the UK. I'll check your blog for more updates so keep them coming when you can:-)

Sounds like a terrific start to their big trip. I can't believe just that fast I've switched places with Tim. Our trip went too fast. I hope they have a great time. I'm sure they will.
