My latest update...

Sean did go to see the Stake President on Tuesday night for his interview. It turns out that a missionary can only turn in papers 90 days before the availability date...not your birthday. Our bishop is on the newer side, and we haven't had too many missionaries from our ward, so he didn't realize this detail. I'm guessing the other missionaries that have gone, either didn't go to school before their missions, or their birthday/end of the semester was after the 90 day period. He was disappointed, but for whatever reason, we all feel calm - which is so unlike me in such a situation. So instead of getting his call the first part of September, it will be more like the first part of October. Melissa is coming for Russell's wedding, so she is hoping his call will come the day before the wedding because calls usually come on a Wednesday. I have noted Lilian's & Grandma's predictions for his call. For the record, my prediction is Albania. But for now we will have to wait longer.

However, I also have a question. Marivic tagged me, and I noticed Les & Lilian had been tagged too. Melissa sent the same tag in an e-mail. I e-mailed my back because I don't know how to do it in the blog. I need to get some blog help. I am open for any and all suggestions. I am hoping to improve my blog, but it might have to wait until summer is over.

Instead of a makeover on Friday I am with you Margie, we need lessons on blogging. BUT............. I won't be there because we have our Ward adult BBQ at 6pm. oh well :o(

Just copy (meaning highlight it and click "copy") what the other person has in their post THEN open your own blog to make a new post and "paste" it into your blog. Then go change the answers to how you would do it. Simple!

I always thought it was 90 days before the birthday too? However, my boys always put their birthday as their availability date.

I do it exactly like Lilian said so that must be the easiest way. I'm with you on needing blog suggestions, Margie. I've discovered a few things by playing around, but holy smokes! It takes up a lot of time. It would be faster if someone just shows me.

I predict Sean will be called to a country in South America :-) What an exciting time for him and for the family.

Lilian gave you the correct instructions. It seems there are so many things to learn. I'm predicting that Sean will go to Madagascar.

"just a little bit longer!" ;) I predict he will go to........Madagascar (first place that came to my mind!;) However, I would LOVE it if he went to Brasil!!

How WEIRD! Nobody will believe this, but I DID NOT read Lesley's comment, where she predicted that Sean will go to Madagascar, until AFTER I had guessed it too! After I left the comment I decided to see what other guesses were out there and saw Lesley's. WHAT IF? Ha Ha...;)
