High School Days...

1. Did you date someone from your school? Yes, but I had the best of both worlds. I dated boys from my school, but I had a boyfriend from another school...TIM. Of course he had the same luxury too.

2. What kind of car did you drive? The family car...I didn't have my own car until after I was married.

3. Were you a party animal? No.

4. Were you considered a flirt? I considered myself more reserved. However, Tim says he thought I was a flirt. I wasn't overly flirty.

5. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir? Choir

6. Were you a nerd? I don't think I was.

7. Were you on any varsity teams? No

8. Did you get suspended/expelled? NO!! I hate to get into trouble.

9. Can you still sing the fight song? No, but my family still teases me because I have always been really loyal to my High School. While I was in High School we took State in just about everything. Go Skyline!!

10. Who were your favorite teachers? My most memorable teacher was Mr. Westerguard and Mrs. Sullivan. They were both English teachers. Mr. Westerguard my sophomore year and Mrs. Sullivan my senior year. I also really liked Brother Mayer who was my favorite seminary teacher.

11. Where did you sit during lunch? Usually in the lunchroom, and I had a salad bar on most days. They had a really good one at Skyline with iceberg & romaine lettuce, ham and cheese, tomatoes, croutons, beets & olives. But my favorite days were when we went to McDonald's. When I was a senior Doug Bailey took me to McDonald's and we ended up getting back to seminary with just a few minutes left of class. That was one time it was worth being a little naughty. Tim was so jealous of Doug and then they ended up serving in Brasil as missionary companions, and Tim really grew to love him.

12. What was your school's full name? Skyline High School

13. School mascot? Eagle

14. If you could go back and do it again, would you? No...however I love being at the High School now...knowing what I know.

15. What do you remember most about graduation? Elsha...I still remember the boys name that was sitting next to me with about 1/2 bottle on him.

16. Where did you go for your senior skip day? Lagoon

17. Were you in any clubs? I was in pep club, and I was an officer in Choir. I was also on the seminary council in 9th grade.

18. Have you gained some weight since then? Yes...:( Check out my picture...

19. Who was your prom date? Tim Marsden was my favorite prom date!!

20. Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion? I was pregnant and on bed rest at my 10 year reunion, but I did go to my 20 year reunion, and I had a great time. The funniest part was when this guy came up to me and acted like we were best friends and I didn't even recognize him. I didn't dare look at his name tag because by the way he was acting I figured I better not make it any more awkward. After two or three minutes, I finally recognized his voice, and it was "Mr Elsha" who was a really great guy at Skyline, and a huge football star who went on to play for BYU, who was now bald and all that muscle....turned to fat. He still had has great personality.

I can tell you have gained weight since high school...but I'm sure the next time you get the flu it will be gone...gosh mom. I've gained twice as much as you ever did in your lifetime since high school and I've been graduated FOUR YEARS!

I forgot all about Elsha!! That was the big name cologne back then. Now that you are back in HS are you more flirty now? :-) I'm remembering the story Megan told us about you in the grocery store...

You and Tim were such a cute couple. Still are, of course! The story about Mr. Elsha at graduation and the reunion cracked me up. So funny!
