The Best News of the Week....

I realized after blogging about Betty's fun, I neglected to write our best news of the week. Megan got a job!! It is not just any job...it is the perfect job for Megan. We were worried about being gone so much this summer (in total 5 weeks) it would be very difficult for Megan to get a job and be able to take time off. We realized it would probably be Megan's last summer of being able to go and do so much, but the thoughts of giving that up were very sad for me. She has actually been extremely blessed because she has been able to find two jobs that she can work at home, and still be able to go on our trips. She will be working for our neighbor who is in the investment business doing some computer work. She will be a "securities assistant". She had to go get fingerprinted and everything to make it legal and official. He and another associate took her out for Chinese food on Monday to give her some information about the job. It looks like it is a job she will be able to keep during the school year too. She will do most of the work at home, on her own time, but will have to complete a certain amount each month. She is also working for another company packaging planner type things. This should only last until about August. Megan is such a SMART, and RESPONSIBLE young women, and I am so happy for her!!! But I can't help but add, it is a huge blessing for her. When all of this happened I said to her, "have you been praying for a job", and she said YES!!
